Oooh...next week is gonna be one hell of a week..Firstly because it is a 3 day work week! (ok it is actually 4 but screw it)

No more solo work, my partner will come back rejuvenated from his week holiday to Australia. :)

SINGFEST 2007! A 2-day music festival will be taking place over the National Day holidays(8 & 9 Aug '07) at Fort Canning Park. The festival will feature 14 international acts including headliners such as Pet Shop Boys, Cynid Lauper, Sugar Ray & Shaggy. Alterntive bands such as MXPX, Avenged Sevenhold, Hinder, The Academy Is and many others will also be prominently featured.

Last day of work!

Thursday

For the first time, Singapore will celebrate her birthday at Marina Bay, where a specially designed floating platform is being built for this year’s National Day Parade. There will be 27,000 participants at the seating gallery and another 100,000 participants along the bay.

Who cares about this celebration? I've watched this twice. YES. TWICE this year. Previews of course. (...contingent...masok baris!)

Malay Heritage Centre embarks on a cultural journey with its inaugural Malay Arts Festival in celebration of Singapore's 42nd birthday this August. Discover and experience the splendor of Malay Arts including Bangsawan, Puisi, Dikir Barat, Hadrah, Theatre, Silat, Pantun, Fashion and many more. Showcasing a Silat performance, the Malay's unique form of martial arts, drama-comedy and a singing competition as well as malay dancing performances.

Dad's Birthday celebration. 51 and going! (although some spare parts already worn off..heh heh..)
